Mechanics Wage and Overtime Cases

Mechanics – Overtime and Unpaid Wages

Are you being paid on a flag rate, or flat rate basis? You may be entitled to receive back pay, and overtime pay for hours over 40 per week.

A flag, or flat rate basis, means you are paid according to the number of hours published in an industry guide, such as the Mitchell Guide, or a manufacturer's guide, regardless of the amount of time you work on the job. You may be entitled to be paid for time worked in excess of the published amount, as well as time spent waiting at your shop for work. You may also be entitled to receive overtime pay, at time and a half, for hours over forty per week.

To learn your legal rights, please email us, fill out the contact form on the left, or call Giselle Schuetz, Esq. directly at 888-369-1119 ext. 8.

There is no charge for a consultation, and there is no legal fee, unless we recover back pay for you.
